Oh ya, also, take this advice: always carry an extra wallet with about $10 in it (includes everyone you're going with). My friend Roberto lived in Peru for a bit and he got mugged in his car twice in the same month. While you're stuck in traffic, they simply walk up to the car, stick a gun in your face, tell you to give them all your money, then leave, because you have nowhere to run, go or do. All they care about is getting a wallet, so keep an extra one handy while you're there.

My family is booked with a travel group, so we will be traveling with a lot of people the entire time. And it will only be via bus or train. My Dad is a trained soldier, so I'm feeling pretty safe. Both my brother and I know martial arts as well. Thanks for all the tips though.
BTW, just turned in the art for the class, so I'll try and get something done before I fly out.

Sorry for not posting anything in the week since I've been back. I've been commissioned to do some concept work for an indie movie project and only have a few weeks to do it. I'm finishing up now, so I'll get back to the Lvere within the next week.

Peru was amazing. But so cold too. I didn't expect it to be so cold at nights.
We got to see a lot of the country. Agua Caliente and Machu Picchu have to be my favorites.

And I'm excited about the indie movie. Got the project from my 405th.com Editor in the site's downtime.

Got some exciting news!
I've won the Halo Evolutions Art Contest. My illustration was chosen to represent the "Midnight in the Heart of Midlothian" story and will be printed in an upcoming version of the Anthology!

That's funny.
I can be pretty clueless sometimes. I guess it's because I pay attention to the wrong things. I'll be analyzing the texture of a rock or cloth when I should be listening to what a friend is saying (has gotten me in trouble before).
Besides, I never really use FB. I can't stand all the constant updating. I like a bit of mystery in my life concerning myself and others.

Giving you guys a head up: Starting my last semester. Going to be tight in how much time I have to work on stuff. But I wouldn't worry about the stuff I'm doing here. I hope to use some of it for my final portfolio in fact.
Is that okay? I plan on printing out a book for my portfolio and would really like to have a concept art section.
